Why LootSeer exists
Most game wikis are built for reading. LootSeer is built for deciding: you arrive with a question ("which bow does more damage at my tier?", "which two Pals breed into Anubis?"), and the answer should be the first thing on screen โ not three paragraphs down a prose page.
So every page leads with the numbers, every table is sortable, and every item has the same columns as the items it competes with. If a stat exists in the game files, we surface it.
Where the data comes from
- Community wikis (Fandom and wiki.gg) for item definitions and infoboxes
- Game files and documented formulas for derived numbers โ for example RimWorld weapon DPS, which we compute with the same formula the wiki documents
- Hand-checked exceptions: special breeding combinations and boss progression tables get verified by hand, because automation gets those wrong
How fresh is it
Each database re-syncs against its source wiki on a daily cycle. When a patch changes a value upstream, the page follows โ you should never be reading last-season armour values.
Calculators, not just tables
Nine of the databases ship a purpose-built calculator, because a table tells you what a single item does and a calculator tells you what a build does:
- Breeding calculator โ Palworld, PalHub: pick a target, get the parent pairs
- DPS calculator โ RimWorld, 7 Days to Die: damage, cooldown and shots per burst
- Production calculator โ Satisfactory, Factorio: per-minute input and output ratios
- Nutrition calculator โ DayZ, Once Human, The Long Dark: calories, water and stomach volume
- Gear & loadout planners โ Grounded, Bellwright: score a full set, not one slot
- Armor & loot finders โ Conan Exiles, V Rising: filter every set, or work backwards from an item
Free, and staying that way
Every database is free to use with no login and no paywall. The sites are supported by advertising. No database accepts payment for placement โ stats are shown in the order the numbers put them in.
Beyond the databases
One non-gaming experiment on the network.
